15 Months - 24 Months
Our Toddler program, designed for children aged 15 to 24 months, is a nurturing space that fosters growth and exploration. As a transitional phase, toddlers begin to experience communal activities such as eating at group tables and napping on cots. Our curriculum is centered around creative exploration, allowing children to learn through play and free exploration. We utilize the Creative Curriculum for toddlers, offering a variety of developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate growth and curiosity. Our structured daily schedule fosters a sense of routine and trust, while our lesson plans are designed to nurture each child's individual development and curiosity about the world around them. 24 Months - 36 Months
Our program for two-year-olds creates a vibrant and engaging environment that caters to your child's unique needs as they grow towards independence. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to stimulate brain development and foster independent thinking. We offer a variety of planned activities that include dramatic play, hands-on art projects, and interactive storytelling. Additionally, we incorporate sensory experiences such as tasting food and sand/water play, as well as music and movement activities. Outdoor play is also a crucial part of our program, providing your child with the opportunity to explore and learn from the world around them. We strive to make this crucial stage of your child's life a time of fun, growth, and discovery.

3 - 5 Years
Our classrooms, with a maximum of 20 children and two dedicated staff members, foster an environment that encourages individual creativity and learning through play. We firmly believe in a hands-on approach to learning, and our lesson plans reflect this philosophy.
Curriculum, based on the Illinois Early Learning Standards, is designed to stimulate brain development and challenge children at their individual developmental levels. We offer a wide variety of activities across 11 interest areas, including block play, art, dramatic play, library, toys/games, cooking, music and movement, sand/water, discovery, computers, and outdoor play.
We're also proud to be a partner of the Illinois State Board of Education’s Preschool for All Children 3-5 Year Initiative. This collaboration allows us to offer two half-day, Pre-K programs to 40 qualifying children, led by a certified teacher. Additionally, we provide wrap-around child care services on-site for a fee.

School age
5 - 13 Years
At Troy Early Childhood Centers, we understand the unique needs of school-age children, and our program is designed to cater to children between 5 to 13 years of age. We maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio, with only 20 students per teacher, ensuring personalized attention and care. Our comprehensive program includes both before and after school care, as well as a dynamic summer program. During the academic year, we provide structured schedules that include time for homework and lesson plans aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards. We also offer care during early dismissal, no school days, and snow days, ensuring continuous support for your child's learning journey. Our summer program is designed to engage children with a variety of activities and field trips, including music, Spanish, and physical fitness sessions. We also provide transportation to and from public schools, adding an extra layer of convenience for parents. Our goal is to create a nurturing, educational, and fun environment that supports the overall development of your child. Through Brightwheel we will keep you connected to your school-age child's academic and extracurricular activities, from classroom achievements to fun-filled after-school moments.

2 - 5 Years
HappyFeet is our innovative and exciting mobile clinic, specially designed for kids aged 2 to 5 years. Utilizing our unique “Story Time with a Soccer Ball” methodology, we bring the joy and skills of soccer directly to children at daycare centers and preschools throughout Southern Illinois. Our program is focused on developing coordination, confidence, and a love for the game in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate manner.
The program is led by Coach Justin, a seasoned soccer enthusiast with deep roots in the Alton/Wood River area. Having played both club and high school soccer locally, Coach Justin brings a wealth of experience and passion to his coaching. Since the early 1990s, he has dedicated himself to teaching soccer to various age groups, from Pre-K and Kindergarten to high school students. His approach is not just about teaching soccer skills, but also about nurturing a love for the sport and instilling valuable life lessons in young minds.
